Here’s a clip featuring moments from “Fairy Tree” – a twin-stick shooter my team at Maxplay made using Maxplay’s game engine and tools. I led a small team of contractors: Mark Vearrier helped out with the environment, Rolf Mohr painted the backdrop and did concepts, and David Russ modeled the demon. I did the rest, including all the VFX and the tree. I know, the alpha sorting problem was a bit of a bother…
